Dr Anil Wali
MD Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, IITDr Anil Wali works at the interface of business and research. He is an IIT Delhi Doctorate having years of experience in specialty chemicals and clean processes. He has several proprietary reports, patents and publications to his credit. Anil Wali has worked in chemical industry for 19 years.
Besides having strategic customer and quality orientation, he has multifaceted experience with respect to R&D management, technology development and licensing, infrastructure & project issues, opportunity assessment, entrepreneurship, IPR policy and strategy, open innovation, training etc.
He is also called upon to deliberate and participate in the area of sustainability. Anil Wali has been the Managing Director at Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) – an autonomous interface organization at IIT Delhi since 2006. Besides looking at issues of concern to SMEs, he is overseeing technology transfer, enabling partnerships and driving innovations and incubation in the academia.
Dr. Wali is part of several committees – addressing, inter alia, issues of education, industry-academia relationship, IP management and entrepreneurship development. He lectures widely. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Management, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
