Richard Rekhy is a distinguished business leader, strategic advisor, and speaker with over 38 years of experience across consulting and professional services. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Grant Thornton Bharat, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of KPMG in India, where he was a member of the Global Board and the Council of KPMG International. Over his career, he has worked with Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, and KPMG, spearheading firm leadership in various capacities, and continues to support KPMG Dubai's board in its transformation journey. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, holding a B.Com (Hons) in Accounting, Taxation, and Economics.

Richard's expertise spans leadership, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, business strategy, organizational transformation, and executive decision-making, and he is widely admired for his clinical approach to governance and risk. As a speaker, he addresses themes of authentic and purpose-driven leadership, becoming CEO-ready, building trust and resilient cultures, navigating disruption, and leading in the age of AI, drawing on decades of executive experience to offer practical lessons on integrity, resilience, and reinvention.

Beyond his corporate roles, Richard is an active mentor and angel investor, supporting startups and young professionals in consulting. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Management and Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) under AIMA, as well as the Boards of Governors of the Asian School of Business Management (ASBM) and IIM Sambalpur. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee Board of Smile Train India, the CFO Collective Advisory Council, a founding member of the Will Forum in India, and an Advisor to SpeakIn, Asia's largest speaker bureau.

He is further associated with a non-profit focused on education for the underprivileged and senior care, and remains committed to mentoring and inspiring young people who need guidance and support.
